Founded in 2018 by filmmaker and screenwriter Daniel James Pike, County House Pictures strives to create fun, engaging, and captivating stories that showcase our unique view of the world.

Daniel James Pike is a filmmaker and screenwriter from the greater Windsor and Essex County region of, Southwestern Ontario, Canada. His debut short film The Acrylic (2019), has been officially selected in 12 different international film festivals, and received several awards at the Indie Shorts Film Festival in 2019 and 2021.

Between 2012 to the present day, Daniel has placed in a number of screenwriting competitions, including Top 5 at StudioFest in 2018, and the Canadian Film Festival in 2015. Daniel has also been selected as a Quarterfinalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting associated through the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Chris Fudge Filmmaker

Chris Fudge

Director, Cinematographer, and Editor

Owner of partner company Plateau Entertainment

Chris Fudge is a Canadian director, cinematographer, and photographer originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. His debut short film Ransom (2016) screened at four international film festivals and won multiple awards, including ‘Best Thriller Short’ at the Hollywood International Motion Pictures Film Festival in California.

Building on that success, Chris wrote and produced several more projects including, Underneath the Makeup, There’s Me (2016), which screened at the international human rights festival in India, festivals in the United States, and Ukraine, and received several awards, including honors in Indiana, Arkansas, and the ‘LGBT Short Award’ at the Hollywood International Motion Pictures Film Festival. Chris was invited to attend the red carpet screening at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood and was later featured in Canadian media, including a live interview with VOCM Radio.

His short Return to Form (2017) was accepted into the Atlantic Film Festival in Halifax, and Apprehension (2018) was selected for the Short and Sweet Film Festival at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in Hollywood.

Chris continued his filmmaking journey with Blue and White (2023), Sorting (2023), Ricky’s Quickies (2025) and most recently wrapped production on Evil in the House set to circulate film festivals sometime in 2026. Now based in Ontario, Chris remains dedicated to creating stories that fuse emotional depth with striking visual style.

Wendy German

Producer, Director, and Actor

Wendy German is a Canadian film and theatre actress and director. A talented theatre professional both on and off stage, Wendy’s passion for acting and arts management led her to take her talents on-screen in 2016, landing her roles in several television shows including Haunted Case Files, Web of Lies, Paranormal 911, and Paranormal Nightshift.

Wendy has also appeared in several short films, including The Acrylic, In Her City, and Sweet Revenge, a film which went on to be honoured at Kevin Hart’s Just For Laughs Film Festival in 2018. In that same year, Wendy starred in Clash, a Nigerian-Canadian film that reached the #1 position on Netflix Nigeria and is set to make waves around the world after being released on Netflix platforms worldwide in July 2021.

Wendy has recently directed and appeared in Finding Orleen, a short documentary film in partnership with County House Productions, that is due to be released later this year.
